I think that the push safety is in backwards

The "EW" should be on the right side. I would put the flip back in. That is a nice late Winchester. Barnett's Winchester is just pristine, remember when we first saw that one.

Just got off the phone with M1icon Carbine expert SETH and he said it was all FAKE and that Winchester never manufactured M1 Carbines during WWII. And if SETH says it you know it's true!

Rusty said he likes push safeties and adjustable sights. It's his carbine, he should be able to use it the way
"HE" wants to. Go for it Rusty.....Frank

P.S. Rusty if you still have the flip give me a call

    Thank You Frank,

I just cant imagine that with as much planning over the design and parts of this weapon, that they had intended the "EW" to be installed upside down. And, If they did, I dont care. It's in there like I want it. Yep, I think I'll hang on to the flip safety frank.

Charlie wins the prize. Compare with any known original. Look carefully at the cross cannons. It's fake as a three dollar bill.

Rusty, keep the flip. Mine has a push, and came that way. I'm leaving it like it is. But you never know what is around the corner. Checking something interesting out tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens......Frank

OK, that's it... from now on I will confiscate and hold ANY carbine which is accused of bearing improper parts, fakes stamps or forged paperwork until I can personally determine the validity of each and every claim!

Ahhhh, does anyone have sufficient storage space to hold all the carbines????????
