Got the scope in the mail yesterday, and looks to me it was range scope, don't think based on how its finish "wore" down that it really saw any use outside of a range. Seems to be all adjustment dials from fingers rubbing it off, and from the hard plastic case while being carried around.
Just need to figure out what to do with the Claw mount now.

One dealer who I bought from had 3 of them show up in a triwall full of boots.
You still have any one of them kahles C2? Want to sell them? thanks.

Humm, now after being able to play with the sights of my M1A I'm starting to think I'm going to go with no optics on this rifle. I'm really liking its iron sights.

There are, of course, the ELCAN scopes currently in use, and they can be found with a 7.62 ballistic cam in them. They are reasonably rugged, but the magnification is not great.
Have a look at the SARCO website. They post a PDF of their latest shotgun news ad on their website. You might find something on there.
In regards to the C1A1 scope; are you referring to the Trilux SUIT? I bought one privately, mounted for $200.- shipped. They are available from several US dealers between 200 and 300. Two examples recently sold on ebay around the 200 mark. Where in Canada can I get the weaver mount converter?

No, I am referring to the Leitz C1 sniperscope. It came in a small can with a rail cover and a couple of accessories. There was a replacement top cover for the rifle to go with the kit. I did see one of these go on ebay about a year or so back, and it went for the low price of just $800. The top covers are usually found seperately. If the seller does not know what he has, they can be had for $20-50. If he knows what he has, it will run $100 to $400.
Here is my setup. I have seen the rail on shorter top covers, but this top cover is definitely Cdn (it has the little tabs at the back), although the riveting is a bit bubba'd.
