I just received this today and I seldom get junk mail.

I remembered this thread and wanted to add this for people who have American Express accounts. I have NEVER had an American Express account, so I called foul when I first saw it, but the header images, etc appear authentic and may look like your American Express electronic info you are familiar with.

This is more advanced than the normal Nigerian emails, but may be from them too. I deleted all the links/http in case someone becomes curious. (I didn't 'click' on them)

These crooks need to be boiled in oil!

It has come to our attention that some of our customers no longer have access to their XXXXXX account.

We need you to Manage Your Card Account online, activate your XXXXX and update your personal information.

Simply go directly to http:XXXXX and select Activate a Card option or just click XXXX. This process is mandatory, and if not completed within the nearest time your Cardmembership (Misspelled)
will be suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
