Again, thanks for talking about it, gives me a reason to ask more questions and look into it more.
I stopped by Orion 7 to pick up my carbine today.
Talked to Tony about the stock, and also refereed to the battle rifle website.
Tony had a lot more info supporting it being an HRA stock.
The battle rifle website states that later HRA rifle stocks may have serified Ps.
And porches range in size.
Tony said, said the butt plate was an HRA plate with no doubt - he showed me the little reasons why it's not an SA butt plate, but is an HRA butt plate.
To him, it looks original to the stock. He agrees with the later HRA stocks may have serifed Ps and has seen it.
All parts of the stock look HRA, markings are right, and yes I have a smaller porch, and he's seen many like that as well.
I learned a lot.
I enjoy getting to chat with Tony, if it's shooting the bull, or mulling over rifles he got in.
