A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Marstar keeps dropping hints that they will have 8mm coming into Canadaicon. No real info on timeframe or price. IMO, don't expect it to be "cheap".

Ya especially marstar, they can over charge and still sell out. I see ads for 8mm in the states, there yugos 50's surplus goes for 250 a 900 rd case and 340 case of Romanian goes for 90. I wish we had there selection of cheap surplus ammo

You can stumble on some every once in awhile in Canadaicon still. About a month ago I bought 320 rds of Winchester white box. Not the white box of current, it looked like this stuff was form the 60's or 70's. A real deal. paid either 75 plus 25 shipping or 100 plus 25 shipping, dont recall exactly. Either way i was really happy.

Bought about 3-4 years ago, Czechicon and Ecuadorian for 25 cents a round.

Best bet is to troll the gun shows, seems a lot of ammo deals pop up. At least for me and a few buddies anyhow. You wont get a case, but usually in lots of 100-300 is the norm.
