My dad wrote a book about Tarawa, Saipan Guadalcanal etc and had Robert Sharrord (sp) a WWII war Correspondant (also at the invasion of Tarawa) to edit the manuscript. I have that manuscript and may someday have it published. I have many photos that he snuck back to the US
