I am sure your reference is to Charlie (Painter777). Has anyone heard from him lately?

Charlie e-mailed me last week I think he is doing OK, despite the rough times he has had recently.

I received email from Charlie last Tuesday, Hooks. He's still recuperating, but it's difficult for him to be on light duty.

BTW, Charlie say's his barreled receiver is a real beauty, but insists they're only close friends.

    Um, so I've heard.....
The wood lasts a very long time and continues to function flawlessly. IME , anyway -- if the entire system is holistically maintained.

    YMMV.

And Charlie really expects us to buy this story? I mean, after all, his Wife caught him asleep with it!

RM, Don't forget to change the sheets.... women have a way of "sensing" when the bed has been ruffled and there has been something in the bed!

Oh, and make sure you get the smell of gun oil out of the bedroom!

(Man, we are a bunch of sick people!)
