It's a 'Win' for certain, in fact it's a SLAM DUNK that you have your grandson out shooting!

If he likes the scope right now, so be it. You don't need to worry about the aesthetics. He'll grow up too fast and you can change out the scope later.

It's just GREAT he's out shooting with you. He'll remember these times long after we're gone and hopefully he'll carry on our heritage.
    I bet he will.

Harlan, Are you running for political office????????

That is some tall Texas Tale!

Gunner, Don't let Harlan mess with you, son.... we usually have a choice of two swimming pools or two tennis courts here in Texas, and most neighborhoods have their own shooting range.

    OK Ed, you caught me.

Yes, I use the public neighborhood range located in front of my house.

The REAL irritating thing is, because I live so close to Dallas they won't allow full auto firing after 7:00PM here! (Says it irritates some of the neighbors)

I'm planning to move near you over in Ft Worth where full auto firing is allowed 24/7 on the neighborhood ranges.
(I much prefer being able to dump a few mags full auto after having several beers and watching the NASCAR races Sunday evening)

I never saw a Carbine I didn't like, well except maybe for an Alpine a buddy tried to sell me with a twisted barrel.

Kikokat keeps telling me he will come down and visit when the weather is good so we can line them up in the yard for a group photo.

    Harlan,

i thought i have to be jealous of your backyard, but i´m thankful for Ed´s true words.
Here is a pic of my backyard. The only bad thing is that if i want to shoot, i have to wear these stranges clothings and some of the others have always their right hand on the helmet and others are always yelling around, dont know what they have, strange Gun-Club???

    Regards

    Gunner
    Regards Ulrich

You beat me at my own game Gunner!

(Cool camo on that new uniform they sent you, BTW)
Did they need to let out the waste size any because you've been in the reserve for so long?

Honestly, congrats for serving your country. Glad you guys are on our side!
