bearhunter, If by CMPicon you mean the US Civilian Marksmanship Program, they did not restock your Breda rifle. The CMP did not get any of the Danish made rifles, only the US ones lent to Denmarkicon. The rifles other than the ones returned to the US were sold or destroyed. The ones sold by Denmark went to Canadaicon via commercial means.

Tom in NJ. Thanks but I was talking about the rifle in the pics posted by coneten. I was just comparing my Breda to his and the other Danes I've seen in Canadaicon. We don't have access to anything that even resembles the CMPicon here.
To bad, but that's life. I would comment on the politics of it all but thats verboten.

Bearhunter, Sorry if I went off on a tangent. According to the Attorney General of New Jersey we don't have access to the CMPicon either....

If you are interested in Danes, you should get the next issue of Man At Arms magazine, there will be an exceptional article on them.

I bought a couple of Garandicon wood sets from Fulton back around 2002 through 2004. Back then they were listed as something like "wood set with metal , serviceable , ugly " and sold for around $45 ( shipped ) . One included a walnut stock with the Danish Kampvisor sticker inside and what I believe to be an Italianicon manufacturer's stamp on the side of the butt. That set was in excellent condition and cleaned up quite nicely.
