    painted gas cylinder. Also looks like maybe receiver is blued? The trigger group looks like parkerizing, but refinished. also finish os too good on connector bar considering it's pre-war. My feeling is it's got "rearsenal finish" on it, blended with a bit of bubba improvisation.
