I need a replacement stock for Springfield Armory 1903

Here are a couple of photos of my 1903, with the replacement stock that has been found to have mis-alignment from receiver to barrel bedding areas. Do these photos help anyone with possible further identification?

Note, there are no markings on the stock at all!

The C.M.P. pulled all of the new 03 and 03-a3 stocks. They had several complaints and Orest pulled them. He does not know when or if they will have them again. Scott

most of the bent 03 barrels iv seen were close to the middle, and all but a couple were saveable,,
the one i thought wasnt, had a dark spot at the inside of the bend, replaced it and gave the old one to my dad, he worked it for a couple hours, and installed it on a shooter, and it shoots pretty darn nice,...have to hand it to him, he put together a nice shooter from junk parts i tossed asside, stock, barrel, bolt ect,, were all to rough for me to use..he made em work.
installed them on a heavy welded Drill rifle reciever that i chose not to recover do to the heavy welding...he,s been shooting that rifle for about 10 years...calls it the trash can rifle.

From the small pictures the stock looks like any garden variety WW ll replacement "Scant" style stock.

Bigger and more detailed pictures are needed to be able to help you.
Needed are detailed pictures (if possible) of the receiver with s/n, rear sight, barrel markings, front sight, etc. If you are not comfortable sending a picture of the s/n just hide the last two numbers.
Are you able to disassemble the weapon and then take pictures of the barrel in the channel, etc, so that maybe the more knowledgeable members of the forum can possibly determine the cause of your problem and offer up a solution and to:
1) verify that the stock is actually the problem and
2) to determine what style stock (if needed) is appropriate for your weapon.

OK Dad,

I can do a take down and try for some close up pictures. Won't get to it for a few days as work and family will keep me busy. But I am enjoying owning this firearm, and hope to get it to shoot as good as it looks.

Many thanks to all for their comments, suggestions and encouragement so far. I hope as I learn I can pay it forward by in turn helping others.

to make that rifle shoot 10 inches to the left, at 100 yards the barrel would have to be pushed at least 1/4 inch off...doubt that the stock is your issue...
likely bent barrel is the problem.
if your stock pusshed that much on the barrel., youd likely never get a guard screw started in the hole without destroying it. or cracking the stock.

id bet most of the complaints are fitting issues...i no longer fit Boyds made military stocks, to many hours,, when you can save your money, and get a GI stock, that will fit.
as iv always said, wait, and spend your money on the real thing...not a wanna be..

I wonder if there's just an issue with quality control at Boyds.
Over the years until present, some people love them and other people hate them. It's not been specific to problems with only 1903 stocks either.
(It just seems that in all this time they'd have been able to get it right) (?)

i thinks its more of a dont give a crap additude from Boyds.. the sporter stocks they make are pretty darn nice, but need a bit of fitting as well.
