    Cracked receiver on an M17

Howdy all, I just thought I'd drop this one in... I bought an M17 (eddystone) range rifle a little while ago basically for the barrel and sights, but today I was doing some long range shooting and thought I'd give it a run.
It shot really well. I'd previously checked it thoroughly, checked the headspace, pulled it apart and cleaned it and put it back together.
I cleaned it when I was done shooting for the day and showing it to a mate tonight I noticed a crack in the receiver, on the left hand side at 9 o'clock on the front of the receiver ring where it abuts the barrel shoulder. It is 6mm long on the outside and appears to go through(it penetrates at least to where the receiver disappears behind the shoulder of the barrel. I've never seen this on a rifle before, but I'm glad I noticed it before there was any failure.
Here's another one to strip for parts and keep the receiver in my collection of interesting things.
