    No. 5 "Jungle" carbine

On Friday I went to a local gun store to see if the Lee-Enfield No. 5 carbine I saw there a few months ago was still there. It was, so I decided it must be fate and I bought it.

No. 5 features: lightening cuts on the barrel knox form, "wasp waist" triggerguard, and rear sight with maximum range of 800 meters instead of the usual 1300 meters.

I did not find any import markings, only British export markings and "Englandicon", indicating it was probably imported pre-1968.
