A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. With original sights, that is very good!
The 3-in-1 hole suggests to me that it would be even better if you could attach a 'scope - possibly sub-1MOA. At the moment, you are probably "eyeball-limited"

    Thank you Patrick!

Yes, thinking about a scope is my idea too. But i want to have the original mount and the scope and thats not easy to find because this stuff is mostly selled with the ZFK`s and spare parts are very rare.

Ulrich, your purse is obviously better filled than mine. My Swissicon is a G96/11, and I am slowly getting round to the idea of a home-cooked composite milled/molded attachment. Unless, of course, you can tell me about a scope bracket for the G96/11 with a 2-figure price! (It's my youthful optimism that keeps me going!)

Patrick, thats the problem! My purse isn´t better filled and i have to save my money for the things i want to have. But if there is a chance to get the original parts at someday i´ll save the money. You´ll have the same problem than i have. For the G11 is no really good scope mount to have except you let i make, which is expensive! Other solutions are to use the S&K mounts which are not bad, but you need a scope for a long eye relief. Or you solder the mounts on the rifle, and thats not my way to destroy rifles in such a way. I´ve never seen a usable scope mounts for the G96/11 or the G11.

That is out of the question. I do not wish to make any irreversible alterations. So I need a clamp-on solution. And I haven't found it yet.
