Yea, I am with you Bear43, only not so much for the Bayonets although I almost bought the Aussie to go with my other Lithgow bayonet. What makes me wanna cry and hide in a corner are some of the other things lurking in Sht_lee's stash.... Stupid Mk.I.... Sigh, one day! and besides, I hold the trump card, my G43! At any rate I also managed to nab some bayonets at the show as well; a very nice Export Model VZ-24 Bayonet, a Remington Contract 1907 SMLE Bayonet and a ratty-but-cool Turkish convert 1907 Bayonet turkified to fit a Turk mauser. (how many times can one say Turk in a sentence!) Also, Sht_lee, didn't you get something else, engineers bayo or something?

Great find! Tell me you didn't find those at an Atlanta show.

I can't find any markings on the scabbards that I can read. There are some stamps in the leather, but they are so faint I can't make them out. No, they were not at an Atlanta show, so rest assured I did not beat you to them. I will say I was at work when M4A3Sherman called me Saturday to tell me what he had found I was very glad that I knew the gentleman that had them up for sale. So I asked very nicely if he would hold them for me. I could not get there fast enough on Sunday.
I also ended up with a Swiss Veterli saw-back bayonet. It has a broken grip, the lock spring is missing and the lock button is frozen, but I think I can restore it.
