Help with an A suffix Rifle

The Mk 1/2 I've got is GB23436A which has been through several overhauls.
That damn' Parkerisation - I'd walk in the opposite direction to any No.4 I see with it. On refinished arms it usually conceals a multitude of sins.

Have a Faz FTR's Mk1/2 whihc has been given an A prefix at FTR but not suffix.
