What's the discharger bit on the muzzle like? What about the genade. Anti vehicle or personell

Here's a piccies of the discharger bit. I don't know what kind of grenades.It fits like a bayonet but with a set screw.

It's very Energa (94 Grenade) like. I think that I prefer our version.

What is this Indian obsession with grenade launching? Is it more to do with "Aid to the Civil Power" as we used to call it, rather than actual combat? That is to say anti-riot which they seem obsessed by as well.

(BTW, yes I know that the label is dreadful and that Energa is spelt incorrectly.)
