"...........that would entirely depend on the 'configuration' you have , these were not reconfigured in re-arsenal , they were re-furbished in their current configuration , or a slightly updated military configuration in some older rifle examples and stored as such for reuse and reissue to our allys , they did not get made into deer rifles

I should have clarified. I have one with most of the parts parkerized. Some of the parts are blued, cut-off, both bands and swivels, extractor, bayo lug. Most of the action is parked except as noted. I figured it was reworked at some point, just didn't know if it was done by an arsenal. It is in mint condition. I'll try to post a pic.

Not just an idle question. I have one in very similar shape as Harlan's and wonder what those are worth..

Hay Mike D, this old man took Basic Training at Fort Jackson in 1959 and I loved it, I even re-up while in Basic and they sent me to Korea 60-61 froze in winter and sweated in the summer. Thank GOD there was'nt any shootin going on, got out when everyone was wondering where Vietnam was. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS jer

I was wrong about the bayo lug. My fault. Here's a couple pics. It's in the 3.94 mil range.
