According to the hump artist that sold it, nothing was wrong and the finish was just discolored there. It's funny the excuses and arguments folks who sell forged and fake items make. Some are actually proud of their work, as if it's a one-of-a-kind Mona Lisa. There would be others who "appreciated his talents." These folks or humpers are nothing but lowlifes.
They actually could care less that they are doing their damn level best to rewrite history. Just give me your almighty dollar.

You may be on to something Jim. Working the streets as long as I did I was amazed at how many "trained" peace officers knew absolutely nothing about what they were looking at. BATF&E agents are not far ahead.

"We're surrounded, that simplifies our problem!"
It is when they (the Officer) think that they know the law and confiscate everything that the situation turns bad. The hard part is getting everything back. There are so many laws that are so stupid and punitive that most people don't have any idea they are felons (like the tracer ammunition law in Calif).
David: It would be cool to let us deal with these humpers in our own way. I'd love to jam about a dozen fake flip sights down their throats and then let them explain their way out of that. I view these sociopaths as the lowest form of human life. Absolute scum. They should be dealt with severely.
