I have a #5 that I bought in the early or mid 60s, the Metal is deep black and the Wood is beautiful and almost looks like Cherry, it is marked with No. 5. Mk.1 on the left side of the Receiver, with what looks like Electro Pencil to me but it is very neat, It is stamped on the top of the Receiver Ring with a Crown and BNP and on top of the Barrel above the Front Handguard with the same Crown, BNP, Cal .303, and 18.5 Tons a Square ", to the right of that a Symbol of a crossed Spear and a long Ax with a 6 between them and a 6 slightly higher and to the right.
My question is, where was this Rifle made?
