I sent him a message saying it wasn't really considered a rare item and I got not one but two messages back filled with hate!! Xmas is coming, must be desperate.

It's funny but all the people that I deal with face-to-face are really nice. ebay seems to bring out the worst in some people.

Did he/she tell you that you don't know what you are talking about? Which seems to be standard response - amongst the bile.

Not mine Jim........... I put a superb completely overhauled, bead blasted, phosphated etc etc NO32 Mk2/1 with all NEW L1A1 optics and drums/turret parts and did a nice little spiel about it - as you do, only to find some turkey continually coming back saying that I really ought to get some proper sound advice before I start hyping it up to be something that it wasn't! Well, you can but try. And being polite, even in a barbed way costs nowt as my dad used tp say Like calling someone you don't like SIR....., but spelled CUR!

Actually, as far as I know, ebay doesn't have any rules against listing bayonets. There are hundreds of them on the site! Even No. 4 spikes are plentiful. This lister could easily have found the going price by searching for other ones.

The expensive ones are the No. 7's. Also cruciform No. 4 Mk. I's.
