There was a bullet hole (and blood stains) over my bed in the ceiling of my dorm room at Berkeley. And some more stains on the wallpaper. When things got tough, I'd lie there and look at those stains and think, "It's not THAT bad." Helped me get through it all.

NEVER take a room at a place called El Rancho. They are always in a bad part of town or by the RR tracks.
