You sure about that though Craig? In that has someone who 'knows everything' could have contacted him and said 'no rifle with that serial number could be a sniper, you're selling under false pretences etc...' Could be bargain time

    Longbranch Sniper

The seller sent me three photos none of which shows any detail to be conclusive. I can make out the rear site is missing but the pads look to be installed properly and dont appear to be staked. The scope is the only item that can be made out clearly, I have made an offer on this one so we will wait and see.

He told me that it has a 52 dated barrel ... At least that part must be a replacement.

I canna see the markings clearly, but it does look like a LB No.4(T) to me. The scope of course is Britishicon.
The markings that are legible, and far and few, do look like Long....... plus the model number is in the correct spot, and the wood sure looks like good Canadianicon walnut.
A decent shot of the receiver side with the serial number and markings would clinch it.......
If no one wants it I will take it and have a nice Mk.1 REL scope for it.

I would like to see a picture of the rear pad with the rings removed....I think that would answer the question.

I too am holding a very nice REL scope and original mount in reserve, waiting on a Longbranch 4T to come along. Please post the serial number and I might be interested in buying it.
