    Wow great bill
Where did you give the gray take down pins,
Mag release, and bolt release. Also were you
Able to find an early gas tube?

    Thanks

    Curt

The pivot pin is from Nodak Spud. The rest of the LPK is straight up Colt factory M16icon LPK. The dimpled selector is from Heat N Beat back when he was around doing retro parts. It has a standard gas tube and an AR15Sport.com 1/9" twist pencil barrel so i can shoot up to 69 grainers. It is really a replica, rather than a true clone with original 602 parts. I wanted a shooter, not a safe queen. BTW, I have a NDS triangle 601 charging handle coming, as well as a NDS waffle mag that I will block to 10 rounds.

Love the brown fibrite furniture on the back one. Wish I'd known what that was before I handed a set to a friend...

How about some detailed photos of the "commemorative" model in the background?

Wish I could, but those aren't my weapons. I stole the pic from the internet! I only have the 602 with a bullet button and a "featureless" USAF GUU-5/P clone with a pinned stock, kydex paddle, and muzzle break.

    early parts

Early steel gas tube - these are not easy to locate ! barrel is chambered for the 5.56mm and has a 1 in 14 twist. Nice project for a early Colt (front sight base is early original too)
