Yes but he is selling much rarer items. Still way over priced in my view but you can't compare what he has been selling with this bog standard Lithgowicon.

Hi Homer was not trying to compare just giving people a heads up as to what prices can be asked for these weapons in relation to non standard I mean my matching 1916 Lithgowicon Mk III cost me $100.oo needed a tad of work but all up a 5MD for $200.oo is a good deal as born and bred in W.A it was mandatory for me it was a 5MD.
The Matching '16 5MD '07 and 5MD Lith '16 scabbard cost me 2 1/2 times the rifles price....................each ouch! but they are pristine and correct

But mate people are already aware I'm sure. You see over priced firearms every day of the week in gun shops, online auctions and firearm websites like the one you are referring. Tell me where the cheap ones are please, not the over priced ones

When you say matching bayonet, are you referring to the serial number?

What you consider dear today or over priced is tomorrows bargain. If it is what you want buy it if you dont somebody else will. What is dear for some is cheap for others.
A bog standard 1913 lithy wont be priced the same as a 1940/44 rifle. And they are not being made anymore.

No I wish Lithgows are expensive enough in the early years the 07 '21 Lithgowicon I have is numbered to its rifle '21 Lithgow Mk III has the Dble stitch Scabb as well, the rifle was a discussion point held a while ago as to the old debate of unfired since a rebuild- the front wood is in the white does not have FTR.
It may have been your self that said squilions of this period went through your hands anyway does not matter it is a safe queen and has not been fired by me in the 6 years I have owned it and only comes out for a drink of BLOicon and light oil twice a year.
The matching goes as far as 5th Military district stampings in the bayonet cross piece and the locket they are in pristine un messed with condition hence the high price I had to pay as bargains on this quality are pretty rare.
I just saw on that site a Sanderson 07 Hooky whick looked pretty abysmal go for $850.oo

Probably true in 50 years time Bindi2 but chances are you and I wont be around to see them appreciate to any great deal, if you want a real pearla grab the 1 of 10,000 presented to the King of Siam that should set you back a few Thruppences

From my I-phone and at night in bad light to give you a view if my Lith '16 the bluing on the blade is beautifully patina'ed and is un messed with it is the best I can do at in my sulk room which every bloke should have.....
