Using shims on the Armalon rail is somewhat hit or miss (usually miss) affair (the Armalon comes with a couple of brass shims, but my receiver needs a diffenent thickness on each side). And the stress inducing fit does not exactly instil long-term confidence. I´m still on the waiting list for a standard LE scope mount, and wonder whether I should have the receiver milled to accept the pads?Information
