The problem with trying to zero at 100 or 200 yards is mechanical... you need a powerful spotting scope or take long walks. In addition, your faults are magnified at distance, so groups are harder to evaluate right. Why not simulate it the way the Army does? Shoot at 25 yards and walk the center of your small group where you want it by 1/4" clicks.
