First, a BIG congrats on a 1926 dated M91 (Tula Arsenal, I suspect). These are rarely encountered, as the M91 was being phased out through the 1920's, and very few are recorded to be from the final year of production.
Next, and again I'll speak in general terms, any bolt in any Finn rifle has a chance to be swapped from another rifle, unless matched to the original font on the barrel. My first impression is that most occurrences of blued bolts are found in Model M91/30's, and I don't recall ever seeing an example in an M91. Could it have been blued by the Nazis? It's possible, but it would be very difficult to guarantee.

I know, it is very odd and it would be odder if it was Nazi captured (or at least the bolt was) simply because it is a Remington bolt, which the Soviets I assume would have long since phased out of the inventory (and had very little in inventory in the first place). I do wonder about that rifle as it does miss a fair bit of the 'common' Finnish
markings (SA markings, Capture markings, etc.). Here is a thread on it if your interested in seeing more on it.

In the English translations by Gunboards member, JTV from Finland
, it appears to be fairly clear that only guns which were captured would receive the stamp. Here is the link again:
http://forums.gunboards.com/showthre...a-capture-mark
There is explicit information on specific weapons and the timeline for the application of the stamp. Good read, and the documents to back it up!

Thanks martin08. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the link at the moment as the filter kicks in and stops access on the public computer which is the only internet access which I have at present. I notice that there is also a "K" within a C marking or an incomplete circle does anyone have any info on the significance of this mark, please?

The circle-K is an arsenal applied proof for point of aim.
