    Some others and Metrics

303 round used as a gauge so I have got a few others out but not all of them the first pics show a 700 Nitro and its 1000 grain projie.
Next we have a purpose built wildcat on the 375 H&H it is called a Professional Hunter the projectile miked at .435" so I guess 45 cal. This was the case the chap had to present to the Police Ballistic section so they could do what they do to legalize it, it is not commercially available as far as I know. Also another one he was developing a .222 rimmed to .17 cal the cases have no head stamps on them.
I got the coiled rounds out as they were in the bag.
Metrics are from Right to Left; (303 round extreme Rt, sorry got the direction incorrect on the initial post)
    9.3 x 82 Nimrod
    11 x 71 Schuler
    9.3 x 53 M + FA Co
    7 x 56 Peters
    8 x 57 Kynoch
    7 x 61 Sharpe & Hart (Norma)
    11 x 65 B Stahl Suhl
    9.3 x 62 Norma Re
    9.3 x 62 RWS
    5.6 x 61 Vom Hofe (BB brass)
Finally a 5.7 x 43 SAKO apparently this is a rare one I was told.

Very nice RCS I like the 455 Auto don't let that Russianicon round near a magnet though as they are a copper wash steel case guess they used the wash so it was not steel on steel in the chamber causing galling or hard extraction anyway they are nice looking lot thanks for posting them, as you can attest it is a time consuming task getting a collection together. Unless you come across a collector selling their whole collection which dents wallets very deeply. I think from memory a 700 nitro like mine is about $150.00/Au and a loaded one up to $200.00 that is not really expensive when you compare it to 20 empty cases of 505 Gibbs @$650.00/AU .
I will post some more Metrics up and have a fish around in my Large Western Rifle collection to see whats there as they are all put away hidden because we are not allowed (or supposed to) have any on display they have to be locked away I mean every one has a 600 nitro rifle in their gun safe and a Holland & Holland at that, our laws here are very difficult at times.

I try to keep attaining but the market is just not here and my own paltry effort started in 1971 when I collected a complete inert Hispano 20mm shell ~ still going , I was in the cadets then we always squirreled a bit of 303 Mk VII stuff when we left the range tucked into our socks under our gaiters or pockets in our J G's but glad we did not get busted as it was a Commonwealth offence to remove live ammo from the range, young and dumb.

Poscript ~I found these lurking in a seldom visited spot on my shelves a packet though only 6 rounds of 6.5 Portugese rounds from memory I paid a hefty price for them a few years ago now $75/Au from memory
