Hey fellas, we all are aware of the tragic incident that occurred in Paris. We all have our thoughts and beliefs as to what is going on and why. Because this is a military surplus discussion forum many are tempted to open threads dedicated to such tragic events because they are somewhat related. I am no different than many of you in my belief system and I too have my ideas and thoughts on all the horrible things that have gone on and that are going on in this world. But because this is a site dedicated to milsups and related items for discussion we must keep those beliefs and opinions on what and why these tragedies are taking place and how best to fix the issues off the site. Here on this site we have a wide and diverse membership and with the diversity comes many political views and beliefs. To keep from stepping on the many toes of belief I would ask all to please keep any and all political overtones off the forums as well as personal attacks may they be obvious or backhanded.

We here have the best and knowledgeable folks the world wide web has to offer. Lets stick to topics that utilize that knowledge base and unite the membership by not engaging in conversation that may divide this great internet family we have here.

The author Aldous Huxley wrote a number of books but the one that sure seems the more appropriate to the times of today is Brave New World. Way back in the day, long before any of it, talking of test tube babies and birth control pills. Crazy insight right there

Seems to be a brave new world indeed. Will end with that for fear of vearing into prohibited territory. Viv La Franceicon. You have to love a country that has Mini 14s in front line service.
