    Misses

    The best ones are always more than you want to pay, but I don't have a single gun in my collection that I regret buying. On the other hand, I can remember EVERY treasure I missed because it was a bit too much. One was the time my brother and I toured all the local pawn shops looking for a Luger. In one, the woman said, "I'm selling my husband's Luger Carbine, I'm divorcing the sunuvabitch. You can have it for $800." It was a beauty but we looked at each other and said, "$800 for a Luger? No thanks!"
