    Boy I'm glad you said that because after you first said it was a Reising sling I kept looking at the photos for some thing else besides keeper distance, that didn't show in the photos, that would indicate it was a Reising sling. Ray

    Remember it's also easy to mistake an original sling for a reproduction/fake because new originals still seem to continue to be turned out of military storage at present. This is especially true of Sten Gun slings as thousands seem to have been sold off from military storage over the last few years- all apparently brand new but in fact more than 70 years old.

    As you had suspected, Ray, the sling's tab to post length is not great enough to allow for a keeper.

    But the sling karma, compliments of imntxs564, came through nonetheless. And it looks mighty fine on the Reising. Many, many thanks sir!
