I've been selling some No 4 Mark 1's on gunbroker, they are owned by an old friend who does not have the internet. He had a 1941 Longbranch which is a hard find that brought 450. The rest were in the 350.00 range. One Indian scrubbed rifle brought 275.00. It was well worn. He bought most of the guns in the 90s for between 100 and 150.00. Not a bad return. I have one 1945 Longbranch left on GB. It was rearsenaled but only the lower fore end is not numbers matching( original number struck). It has a 2 grove barrel with a great bore. I've got it down to 325.00, but it still not moving. It might end up in my flock. The mark 2 rear sight might be hurting it but I'm surprised it did has not sold. I personally prefer the mark 1 rear sight.
