I went to a local shop to have a better look at an all matching 1941 Lithgow that's a bit banged up, but thought would come up good with a clean

Next to it was another SMLE, with a badly chipped buttstock and mismatched fore wood. I thought the fore arm would be handy as a replacement so i figured it would make a good parts gun.

Then i saw BSA co on the left of the socket........

Then i turned it over...

And found a little tiger smiling at me on the other side......

The bolt is siamese but couldn't tell if it matched the barrel and action. Nosecap unnumbered

I think i have my next project
