    Trust me, it is a posed picture. Siting a machine gun team in such an open setting and squatting down behind it as Pte Pace has done are both clues.

    If they are close enough to bayonet then you have real problems of your position being over run as the enemy is not going to come in 1' & 2's so you can pick them off besides they have taken no defensive measures to protect themselves nor conceal the MG's position. A poser for sure but who cares if it is they were doing their bit for us future generations so more kudus to them.
