I don't know of anyone who would put their spouse or girlfriend in harms way for a laugh. These folks are what bring on new weapon laws.

I have a .500 S&W. After one cylinder, 5 rounds, I put it back in the bag. It is a lot to handle comfortably, at least for me. I'd rather shoot my .44's. At least I can shoot a couple boxes before I go down to 45 colt.

I load all that stuff down so I can shoot it comfortably. Arthritis precludes me from getting over zealous now...

I know that when my Grandfather purchased his Browning 1910 automatic in the 1930s he tried to show my Gran how to use it. In the end he gave it up as a lost cause. It wasn't a case of gun safety, more a case of my Gran having a complete lack of understanding of guns and an inability to learn about it.

My Grandfather kept his Browning until the 1950s/60s when the U.K. gun laws became stricter and then handed it into the police. He retained the leather holster which he had made himself and I still have. Some years ago I had a chance to purchase a U.K. deactivated Browning 1910 similar to what my Grandfather had owned. I jumped at the chance and it now lives in the original holster that my Grandfather made.

    Nice hand cannons F4 I owned a Super Redhawk 44M great gun to shoot, fired the 500 S & W a 50 D E and a 50 Ruger Vaquaro I must admit the 500 S&W was pretty lively with factory pills.

Yeah. It wasn't funny to me either. Though I found the replies quite enjoyable.

I've seen all of them before including the one of the woman looking down the barrel of the 1911 from birds eye view. The rest of that one was funny. The husband was trying to explain to his wife how t handle it when the phone rings. The weapon was unloaded and he set it on the table telling her not to pick it up and touch it and he would be right back. As soon as he leaves she picks it up with the results of her looking right down that barrel. At this point he has seen her and sneaks back around her and lights off a pack of firecrackers. the results were hilarious and I'm the sort of fellow that believes practical jokes should be rewarded for their wittiness with hamstringing and castration at the top of the list.

The first time I watched that one I turned away from the screen. One of the scariest and dumbest things I've ever seen.
Some of these folks really are swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool.

One of mother's sayings use to be, "with some people they throw away the brain at birth but save the afterbirth".
