    Is the bolt blued?

The rifle has been reparked and the hatcher hole drilled.

The Marines blued the bolts on their rebuilds in WWII, which they started to drill the hatcher hole around 1938.

It honestly sort of looks like a Marine rebuild, other than the stock. But the stock could have been swapped by anyone.

Check out the gas hole in the bolt as well and see if it's been enlarged as well.

Oh duh you said you swapped the stock and it had a RIA on it. That was the only thing that didn't fit the rifle. The Marines even installed a lot of lyman 48 sights on match 03's. Yeah check out the stuff I talked about on the earlier post.

Oh too, look to see if there is a number on the side of the front sight blade.

Bolt shroud etc is blue the body is in the white. Gas hole looks not enlarged. It sure could have been a Marine rifle and it's soon to have a marine front blade too!
