    Yes! I can only recommend this stock! Very nice wood quality, relatively light weight wallnut and what is important, fitts very well. I am very happy with this ......

    gap is normal, I would be more worried if it had no gap.
    also, looks like someone has put epoxy at the rear tang in the stock, it should have a gap, and be chamfered as well,
    repro bayonet lug,.. not an issue unless you plan on using the bayonet
    warpath metal finishing contact info.
