Oh I feel assured Geoff, but as a Tax payer, it's only right that I should assist the tiresome chore of brass conversion mate...
John,
Looking out for that De Lorean with all the kit in it................that'll get me back in time accurately!!

LDT also sold a number of them on the Germanmarket. I have one.
Attachment 101934Attachment 101935 Here's my 1961 BSA
Originally came from LDT (via Anglo Customs) in Plastic furniture, now dressed in first pattern Britishwood
Great fun to shoot!
I use handloads - RWS .308 cases (F/L sized) SMK 155 palma match bullets 43 grains N140 loaded to 2.775"
I've got through over 100 rounds in one session with not a hard extraction in sight
Its certainly not a 'target' load, but it consistently hits a figure 11 target at 600 yds

Gil, They used to joke about following the white lines to your DeLorean!![]()
Nice looking SP example. I can feel we're going into the great SP extraction debate again!
GGG is your one stop shop for factory loaded SP L1's, it works and surprisingly well.
Others experience may vary of course!
Brian yes spot on with that observation.
John, Don't start me off. I regret selling mine last year, it was a real pain in competitions. Straight pulling anything, when the barrel gets hot you are going to get stoppages, on extraction, which was the issue with mine even on GGG, which was supposed to be the solution.
Yes it was great for the first 7 rounds, but therafter, fitted with the original cocking handle, (not the big landrover starting handle version) the only solution was to stand it on its butt and really force the cocking handle backwards as hard as you could, with both hands or a rubber mallet!!
I know there will be those on here who have had no problems at all on a 20 round mag, but it is an issue on the size of the neck and how that was reamed out by the "convertor" IMHO.
