    Good Day,
    I purchased one of the reproduction examples a little under two years ago. The only issue I had with it was the keepers were only held together with 3-4 stitches. I wrote to the seller and expressed my concern that using the sling in a similar manner to the 1907 pattern might break the threads. He responded that it was made the way originals were. I ended up keeping and reinforcing the keepers with heavy thread and a sail needle. Hopefully the current group have been reinforced.

    The keeper on the sling I just received has additional thread added by hand to the keeper to reinforce the original machine thread .

    The keeper on the sling I received will need some attention just not now I busy stocking up.

    any chance of a photo of how the keeper is folded and stitched ( how have they captured the loose ends?)
