What can you tell me about this rifle?

Does the serial number look odd? Looks like a dash before the 33 (10324-33). Was the -33 added later? The font looks the same though. ??? Salt Flat

Could you possibly post a few more pictures of the rifle? I wonder if the rifle features the "Hatcher's Hole" on the right side of the receiver. Also the front sight blade looks to be thicker. Based on the SA code and the condition of the barrel I'd suppose the barrel is still the rifles original barrel. The year therefore could be (19)19.

It does have a Hatcher hole. I read an article about them. Very cool!

Tgram, then I consider your rifle was in the possession of the USMC even much longer than the date of the SRS entry. Please do share a few more pictures of it, it would be great to look at it!
