    It may help you to determine if the scope block holes are factory applied if you remove the front-most plug scew in the receiver ring.
    Peer down into the hole (with a bright light) and see if you can see the portion of the barrel thread at the bottom of the hole.
    If the thread is present, you probably have a factory-applied set of block screw holes.
    If the hole shows no barrel thread at the bottom, then my guess is you have a "post-armory" applied D&T situation. --Jim

    At this time I believe these D&T'd holes were done by someone along the way. Either way I really don't mind, I've got a really nice rifle to add to my group. It'll add to my collection very nicely. I'm really itching to take it out to the range and see how I can group with it.
