I just got back off the floor! Fantastic! Love the inspector's cartouche marks. That is my weakness too. The earliest clearly marked U.S. military arm that I've every owned was an 1807 lock dated Springfield flintlock musket. Traded that off a few years ago for two M1icon Garand rifles and an Ott-three Springfield. Wish that I'd keep it! Thing was spectacular! Need to dig out some pictures and check out the cartouche. Again . . thanks for posting the photos.
