I missed out on that one by $25 bucks, but am looking closely at these ones, and hoping for opinions. For the moment, do not consider prices, but which is the most desirable for a keeper long term. Then, rate how badly I did with the one I purchased at the bottom. The collectors sheet should be attached. lets be friendly and productive with this please. I am going to buy one more and I am not so worried about cost for the right one. Think unicorn level for what's available. And yes this is the best pics I can get

British Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1(T) Sniper Rifle

Well, for desirability, rarity and collector demand and investment opportunity I'd go for the Ca$20,000 L42A1.

Only 1100 made whilst there were over 20,000 No4T manufactured. It also looks to have the Full CES which has a lot of value and makes it 'complete example' and not just a rifle.

Ease of access to '7.62 factory' ammunition may also factor in the minds of some folk

You also already have an example of a 4T and the l42 is the next evolutionary derivative of the 4T.

Second choice would be the Longbranch/Lyman 4T - again not many made. Expensive without its CES
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

If ny CES you mean the deployment case, it does have that and is complete. the only detail I could see was that the case is a Britishicon rather than Canadianicon. Still crazy expensive. The L42 A1 is tempting. The incomplete H&H is interesting is there is sufficient providence

Yes, it has the case but not the contents (at least no pictures of the contents) for example does it have the 'spotters' telescope.

Trying to read the label - does the Canadian version not include such things as the 'spotters' telescope ?

Added bonus with the L42 Alan it has the innocuous but very valuable plastic bottle that houses the lense brush a most valuable piece as well.

The incomplete H&H really caught my eye as it has a great untouched look. The screws and staking haven't been messed with and the stock finish looks totally original. The no scope and mount though is the (big) negative. Salt Flat
