    Last two photos. We used to use those two-part return spring cap sling loops to repair broken/rusted out front sling loop of the Navy Lanchesters that came through us at 40 Base Workshops. Those Indian guns look like they could do with going through the blaster and phosphating tanks.

    India wasn't permitted to sell Sterling guns to outside buyers. Alas, the contract didn't mention spare parts. So some of the tight fisted African customers would go to India for the cheaper spares
