I guess thats all true, Nick, and besides they can probably sleep better knowing that we can no longer hold a pistol out at the end of our arm long enough to aim it. Speaking of which, heres another email I received:

    Let's see.....

According to our new Department of Homeland Security leader I am a threat to my country because I am a veteran, own guns and ammo, am trained to use them and am conservative......

Well, at least I'm finally getting recognized by my country for serving.

The serious issue here is that we have an Administration that is so debased that you really can't tell satire from policy without a program!

One of the problems with being computer illiterate. I think in this case I was helped along by activating the "Voice" feature, and didnt realize the computer, unlike Scottys on the USS Enterprise, also takes its cues from a cranked up TV as well as me. Thus, no more flash player.

I'm over 60. So if they come to take my guns and I do something foolish, hey, I'm just a senile old man. :-)

The Chinese character for "Trouble" is an ideogram of two women under the same roof! I've found that with flash-players, you usually have more than one of them (whether you wanted them or not), and they don't always get along. One is standing guard over the front door while the other is climbing in the window to kick her in the slats. Look hard, delete'um all, and reinstall (letting MS Media Player in first solves multiple problems!). Besides....you really do want to watch the video...Gilda Radner was a gas!

At 75, I am beginning to understand relativity. When I was in my teens, I thought my Father was an old man at 52. Now, I regard 52 as a somewhat callow youth, while 60; though still young, is approaching maturity.

It wasn't satire when the head of AARP told a New Jersey Senate committee that his organization would support a ban on guns for those over 65. "Those senile old bats shouldn't have guns", he said, talking about the members of his own organization.

For the record, I knew it was false. Announcing the intention to subvert a law wouldn't be good, right BATFE folks reading this? But, you're still welcome to send those guns, just in case.

I can't help but ask, "How much of this crime was committed by people over 60?" And how much of this crime was committed on people over 60 who were unarmed?
It may be satire but 125,000 fewer gun owners in Massachusetts thanks to changes in the law is the reason for the rise in crime.
