A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). That sort of thing has been happening for a number of years. In January 1977 when I was in the Marine Corps, my unit marched in Jimmy Carter's inaugural parade. We were issued M16s and had to turn in the bolt assemblies before we got on the bus that took us into DC. When we were on the Mall and finally all formed up and ready to start marching in the parade, a secret service agent told us, "Okay you men. When you turn the corner from 15th street onto the part of Pennsylvania Avenue where the reviewing stand is, make sure your rifle is real comfortable on your shoulder. Because if you even look like you're going to put your left hand up to move it, YOU WILL BE SHOT. Every body understand?"

Having the obamination even show up is the biggest disgrace!! How can that individual EVEN consider showing his countenance in the presence of great heros??? The obamination, like the klintoon's, hates the military and this great Country!!!

Both he and klintoon are the stenches in the nostrils of honest men!!!

Probably the last democrat who trusted the Military not to shoot him was Harry Truman.

I have a Frenchicon friend who is in the French Army. He and his comrades, at their own expense and work, have restored WW2 jeeps, halftracks and use WW2 uniforms, equipment and deactivated weapons to honor and celebrate D-Day every year. This past April they came to the U.S. to receive jump training. They will parachute out of a C-47 on June 6. My friend is an avid reenactor of WW2 U.S. soldiers. Even tho the French government may displease us, the ordinary French citizen still honors D-dAY.
