    Hello all
I have been collecting mainly WW II artifacts since 1970ish, mostly canadian/british, webbing, equipment and manuals (over 400). My current project is the restoration of a MK I universal carrier that was used to construct the Port Albernie ski resort in the 50's.
I'm looking for certain items for my project, a 2" mortar, and a boys rifle.
I'm an airforce technician and will be retiring soon after more than 30 years service.

    Bob

    The FNG

    Glad to be the FNG.

I am a collector of milsurp and current military-style firearms.

Have done quite of bit of loading and reloading for the 7.62x25mm Tokarev, the 9x19mm Luger, the .303 Britishicon, and the 7.62x54Rmm.

First milsurp rifle ever bought was an unissued Royal Thai-Siamese Mauser in
8x52Rmm for $35.00 through the mail back in the 1970s.

Looking forward to great discussions and to expand my knowledge.

    Thanks.

    Hi. I'm Dan.
My father had a LE in his closet for years and I always wanted one like it.

Now I have a AIA improved LE in .308. I like the old rifles and new rifles and this is a continuation of my hobby,

    Onboard-have M1D question

Son and I shoot regularly at NRA range. Picked up one of the CMPicon M1Ds recently. Nice shape in all respects. Went to gun show and met collector and picked up cheek pad (MRT52), M84 scope with mount, and flash supressor-the narrow one with times not the funnel. Having problem with the scope moving fwd in the mount as a result of the recoil. Know this because with abt an inch movement the rubber eye piece blocks the clip ejecting. Plan on tightening down more and putting a pencil mark to see if scope moves in mount. Can't be the first one to experience this problem-any thoughts/Tks Jake1 in Va <jwjakewce@yahoo.com>

    Hi folks,
As you can tell ,I'm new to this site but not new to collecting and shooting mil-surp guns.I started with just going into a local gunshop looking for an inexpensive old military rifle.I wound up getting a Chinese type 53 MN,and started to investigate it's history.after that,I was hooked.

I love to collect WW2 militaria, and things of that nature.I must say that I am addicted to all things connected to the military,it gets kind of expensive, however,I don't drink, smoke or do drugs,so my wife can't complain too much.

My latest gun purchase was a SC 1903A3 dated 5-43 with all SC parts. It was a VFW rifle rifle and was never re-built.

I'm going to be 45 in July,am married with two children, one son age 12 and a daughter age 2.

I look forward to being a part of this site, and plan to post pictures of my collection as soon as I can.
