It does look more like a No32 scope though. You can see the added foregrip too.

There's also another pic (can't get original from photobucket now sadly) that seems to show one of the scopes that John has.

Kev's post raises an interesting question, I was working on the assumption that the scope was ex trials and brought out of retirement due to the pressing need for optics at this very dark time in NI.

That of course is still plausible, but it's looking more like the scope was actually a ( very) limited issue piece...
