phil, I never pay a premium when buying a de-ac just to try and get hold of a matching numbers gun. If on examination you find that your nearly purchased de-ac is matching or nearly matching gun it's a bonus. On mail order de-acs you sometimes get told that the gun is a fully matching or nearly fully matching but when it arrives that isn't always the case or some of the numbers have been changed to match the master number. There isn't anything wrong with this; it is what happens in service but it is wrong to say it's a fully matching numbers gun and charge a premium if it isn't.
